Shoplye Technologies Inc. ("Shoplye", "we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, and process your information when you visit our website (shoplye.com), use the Shoplye merchant mobile applications on iOS and Android, or access any associated APIs and storefront services.
Shoplye is a 100% free merchant management platform with zero subscription fees, zero in-app purchases, and zero platform transaction cuts.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Your name, email address, chosen store name, and authentication credentials.
- Catalog & Storefront Content: Product titles, descriptions, uploaded media assets, and merchant-specified prices.
- Merchant-Owned Integration Keys: In Store Settings, merchants may optionally configure their own third-party credentials (such as Paymob API keys, Stripe, or Bosta shipping tokens) to process customer orders on their own independent web storefront. These credentials belong solely to the merchant and are encrypted at rest.
- Technical & Usage Telemetry: Device identifiers, browser type, operating system version, and IP addresses for session authorization and fraud prevention.
3. Zero Payment Processing Inside Native App
Shoplye does not process in-app purchases, subscriptions, or credit card transactions inside the iOS or Android mobile applications. Customer payments on external merchant web storefronts are handled directly between the buyer and the merchant's own payment gateways under PCI-DSS compliance standards.
4. How We Use Information
- To provision and host your independent storefront and subdomain.
- To enable catalog management, inventory tracking, and shipping dispatch.
- To communicate critical security alerts and operational announcements.
- We strictly do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal or store information to third-party advertisers.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You maintain full ownership of your data. In full compliance with Apple and Google Play developer requirements, merchants may request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated store data at any time via Store Settings or by emailing [email protected].
